The Artful Business Conference 2017
1.1 Tickets are sold by Elle Roberts as the event organiser of the Artful Business Conference.
1.2 Elle Roberts is GST Registered, all ticket prices include GST – ABN 56 891 892 594
1.3 These terms and conditions are subject to change at any time and it is the responsibility of the ticket holder to be aware of the terms and/or changes.
1.4 No person/s, at any time, can use, copy, record, sell or publicly broadcast all, or any part of, The Artful Business Conference.
2. Ticket Prices
2.1 Maker & Shaker tickets will be available from 1st November 2016 until the MIDNIGHT 31st December 2016, unless sold out. There are only 50 tickets available at this price. If payment has not been received by this time the additional fees will be charged.
2.1 Action Taker Tickets will be available from 1st January until the MIDNIGHT 28th February 2017, unless sold out. There are only 50 tickets available at this price. If payment has not been received by this time the full ticket fee will be charged.
2.1 Last Chance Tickets will be available from 1st March 2017 until the MIDNIGHT 21st May 2017, unless sold out. No tickets will sold on or after 22nd May 2017.
3. Registration Forms & Payment
3.1 Price and ticket availability information is subject to change without notice.
3.2 Tickets can be printed from your confirmation email which you will receive directly from
the Elle Roberts once the purchase process has been completed.
3.3 The Event Organisers cannot be responsible for spam filters blocking confirmation emails. If you have not received confirmation of your purchase within 48 hours please email email@example.com.
3.4 Accommodation costs are not included in the conference registration fee. Attendees are responsible for making their own lodging and travel arrangements.
3.5 Capacity at the Brisbane Event is limited to 200 attendees. Registrations will be handled on a first-come, first-served basis.
3.6 All ticket holders are responsible for keeping their contact details up to date via their account on the event website.
3.7 All ticket holders are responsible for informing the event organisers of any dietary requirements that may need to be met during the event.
3.8 Event attendees are to arrive at the conference venue by 8am for registration on both days of the event.
4. Ticket Policy
4.1 Tickets may only be purchased from the Artful Business Conference website. Tickets purchased from other sources are not valid.
4.2 All tickets sales are final and subject to these terms and conditions.
4.3 You may nominate a substitute to take your place at the conference at any time up to May 25th, 2017. If you wish to substitute a participant, please contact the Event Organiser at the earliest opportunity by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
4.4 Event Organisers will not be responsible for any tickets that are lost or stolen; you are still able to attend the conference, provided you are able to supply photo identification upon arrival.
4.5 Tickets will not be available at the event.
4.6 Ticket prices are subject to change at any time.
4.7 Ticket prices include GST.
4.9 All tickets are non-refundable but can be transferred up to May 25th 2017.
4.10 Any request to refund a ticket purchase must be in writing to the event organisers. Refunds will be given only in the case of emergency and at the discretion of the organisers. It is not guaranteed that refunds will be given.
4.11 Ticket prices do not include parking allowance at or near the venue.
4.12 Ticket prices include lifetime access to the recordings of all sessions at the event. Access to the private member Facebook page is also included until 31st October 2017.
4.13 Ticket holders have the opportunity to purchase an expo table at the event and purchase discounted advertising opportunities at the live event.
4.14 In the event that the event is cancelled, ticket holders will receive a full refund minus any bank or administrative fees incurred by the event organiser for receiving the original ticket payment. Refunds will be paid within 30 days of the event cancellation announcement.
5. Conference Programme
5.1 The Artful Business Conference programme, presenters and speakers are subject to change at any time, without notice.
6. Participation and Behaviour at Conference Meetings and Activities
6.1 Conference attendees are expected to behave professionally at all times whilst at the Event or the venue. Use of obscene or offensive language, abuse, destructive or threatening behaviour directed at any other person is not acceptable and will result in the attendee(s) concerned being barred from returning to the Artful Business Conference. Persons expelled from the event are not liable for refund or compensation of any kind from the Event Organiser.
7.1 Your privacy is very important to us and we are committed to protecting the integrity of the personal information we collect from you.
7.2 The Privacy Act 1988 (Commonwealth) and the Privacy Principles govern the way in which we manage your personal information and this policy sets out how we collect, use, disclose and otherwise manage personal information about you.
7.3 Please note that participant contact details will be kept on the online Artful Business Conference database, which will only be used by Artful Business Conference, Elle Roberts and event staff. Personal bank details and credit card information is not kept on file.
7.4 Unless the Registration Office has received an explicit request from a registrant asking us expressly not to share his/her contact information (through the Registration Form), a list of all attendees’ names, their affiliated institutions and e-mail addresses may be included in the conference attendee gift packs and published on a “Who’s Who” page on the Artful Business Conference website.
7.5 Your contact e-mail address will be used to circulate details and announcements of the current and future Artful Business Conferences. You may unsubscribe from this correspondence at any time.
7.6 If you would like your personal information record to be deleted after the conference, please notify the conference organisers by email email@example.com or by writing to us at the Artful Business Conference Office, c/o PO BOX 1377, Hyde Park, QLD 4812.
7.7 SPAM Act 2003 & Unsolicited Electronic Messages Act 2007: We are committed to observing our obligations under the Unsolicited Electronic Messages Act 2007. If you receive a commercial electronic message from us and you do not wish to receive any further messages of this nature from us, please follow the steps outlined in this communication for unsubscribing or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
8. Personal Property & Insurance
8.1 Artful Business Conference organisers accept no responsibility for loss or damage to personal property that is brought to or left at the Artful Business Conference.
8.2 The ticket holder will be responsible for any loss, damage or injury incurred as a result of contracts entered into, advice sought or obtained from the Artful Business Conference, Elle Roberts and/or any sponsor. Any loss or damage to property or persons whilst at the venue, unless caused by the negligence of Artful Business Conference organisers, is the responsibility of the ticket holder.
8.3 Ticket registration fees do not include insurance of any kind. We recommend that you obtain your own general travel insurance. It is suggested that the insurance policy should also cover loss of fees/deposit, airfares, accommodation charges, medical expenses, loss or damage to personal property while attending the Artful Business Conference. The insurance should cover loss arising from the cancellation of the conference by the organisers or your inability to attend due to any reason whatsoever. No responsibility is taken by the conference managers for any person not holding insurance.
9. Governing Law
These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed under the law of the State of Queensland, Australia.
